You are more than your output.
You are more than your title.
You are more than what is on your resume.
You can be proud of all of those things. Heck, you should be.
But defining yourself by them leaves you feeling empty in the quiet moments when you’re not collecting awards like they’re Pokemon.
You have value even before you have done thing one . . . You are important. You are needed.
The rest are trophies on top of your inherent importance. They’re the spoils, but they’re not the most important parts.
You do not have to prove anything to be deserving of support and humanity.
You get it for existing.
Full stop.
