Anger Is a Response

Written By: Lauren Howard

Maybe you’re angry because you haven’t healed yet.

Why do we act like anger is inherently the problem?

Anger is a response. Anger is your brain and nervous system assessing a situation and picking a response.

Maybe, if you’re still angry, it’s because you haven’t been given the time or space to heal.

Anger is not a problem. It’s a response.

If you’re angry all the time, that’s a problem.

If you’re angry right now, that’s something to work through, not gaslight yourself out of.

You are entitled to be angry when someone harms you.
